Today was a beautiful day but Gretchen and I didn't manage to get out in it anymore than the time it took to get in and out of the car. Instead, we played with tupperware and made a big pot of spaghetti sauce and had Aunt Jessica over while Daddy and Papa Joe went out for dinner. It had been awhile since Gretchen had seen Jess but Gretchen soon warmed to her and spent a fair amount of dinner waving at her. We tried beef tonight and it went over much better than the chicken. Gretchen had a much needed bath before bedtime to wash the pears and mangoes from her hair, had a nightcap and snuggled down in her bed without a peep.
Highlight of daycare: Gretchen pulled up into standing all on her own. We knew she had figured out how to do this when I found her standing in her crib a couple of days ago, but this was the first time with an audience.
